A Guide to the emWave Pro Inspector

Overview

The Inspector panel is the primary tool for reviewing the specific details of your coherence practice. It allows you to see the “story” behind the data by providing session metadata and a space for personal reflection.

Accessing the Inspector

  1. Open emWave Pro or Pro Plus.
  2. Click the magnifying glass icon in the main toolbar.
  3. The Info Panel will appear on the right side of the screen.

The Session Tab

This tab is active when you are reviewing a specific session. It provides the following metrics:

  • Date and Time: When the session was started and completed.
  • Challenge Level: The difficulty setting (1-4) used during the recording.
  • Duration: The total length of the session in minutes and seconds.
  • High Coherence Streak: The longest singular duration you spent in the “Green” zone.
  • Labels and Notes: At the bottom, you can type in a Title for the session and add Comments. These are saved permanently and are useful for identifying what you were practicing (e.g., “Morning meditation” or “Stressful work call”).

The User Tab

This tab provides a high-level view of the profile currently active in the database.

  • Multi-User Management: If you are a practitioner, use this tab to verify which client’s data you are currently viewing or editing.
  • Breath Pacer Settings: You can also see the saved breathing cycle time for the specific user in this section.

How to Review Previous Sessions

To see the Inspector data for a past session:

  1. Click the Review Progress icon.
  2. Hover your cursor over any session in your history list. If the Inspector panel is open, it will dynamically update to show the info for that session.
