Question: I just started two weeks ago. So far I’m really liking it but I’m confused by when I should go to a higher level? It says at 90% in coherence but I’m way far from that. How long does it usually take to advance levels?
It’s perfectly normal not to be close to 90% coherence in your first few weeks—most people start much lower as they get used to the tool and techniques. The coherence score works as a training tool, and early benchmarks are quite a bit below 90%: a score of 0.5 is a good beginner level, 1.0 is considered “good,” and 2.0 or above is “very good.” Experienced practitioners can sustain scores between 3 and 5.
When deciding to go to a higher level, aim to spend about 80% of your session in the “green zone” (high coherence) before increasing the difficulty. The app recommends practising for about 5 minutes a day for 6 weeks to start seeing meaningful improvements, but everyone progresses at their own pace.
Remember, it’s about consistent daily practice rather than hitting a particular percentage quickly.
