How to Reset the Inner Balance Bluetooth (BTLE) Sensor

When to Perform a Reset

A reset is recommended if you experience any of the following:

  • The sensor light is stuck blinking red.

  • The device appears to be malfunctioning or “frozen.”

  • Your phone or tablet consistently fails to find the sensor during the pairing process.

Step-by-Step Reset Instructions

1. Power on the Sensor Press the power button on the sensor unit to ensure it is turned on before attempting the reset.

2. Locate the Reset Port Turn the sensor over. On the back side of the unit, you will see a very small circular opening. This is the manual reset port.

3. Trigger the Reset

  • Take a small, thin object such as a paperclip or a pin.

  • Gently insert it into the reset hole.

  • Apply light pressure until you feel or hear a very faint “click.” This indicates the internal reset button has been depressed.

4. Confirm the Status Look at the LED indicator on the front of the sensor. After a successful reset, the light should begin blinking Blue. This confirms the sensor has returned to its default state and is ready to be paired with the Inner Balance app.

Next Steps

Once the light is blinking blue, open the Inner Balance app on your mobile device and follow the standard pairing instructions to reconnect.
