Everyone has their own natural breathing pace which is comfortable for them. The Breath Pacer (Mandala – home page, or the Chaser – screen 2) starts out at a breathing pace using a 10 second cycle – 5 breaths in and 5 out as illustrated below. If you find the speed of the Breath Pacers to be too fast or too slow, just breathe at a steady relaxed pace that is comfortable for you.

Use this procedure:
- Tap the Settings icon
- Scroll down to the Breath Pacer
Only the pacing rate is adjusted — you must still synchronize your in and out breathing with the motion of the pacer display.
