Understanding Achievement Scores on HeartCloud

Overview of HeartCloud Achievement

The “Top Achievement” section of HeartCloud is not designed for competition. Instead, its purpose is to recognize individuals who are actively pursuing emotional self-regulation and collectively contributing to a more coherent world. It serves as a visual reminder of the “Global Coherence” we are building together.

The Science of the Score

The Achievement score is a mathematical representation of both the quality and duration of your coherence.

  • Base Calculation: The algorithm analyzes your heart rhythm in 64-second blocks to establish a base coherence level.

  • Real-Time Updates: During an active session, the app re-calculates your coherence every 5 seconds.

  • Summation: Each 5-second calculation adds points to your “Achievement” total. The higher your coherence level (Low, Medium, or High), the more points are added to the sum.

  • Final Result: Your total Achievement for a session is the sum average of these points over the entire length of the recording.

Setting Personal Goals

To build lasting resilience, consistency is more important than achieving a single high score.

  • The “300 Rule”: A great starting point for most users is a daily goal of 300 Achievement points.

  • Flexibility: You can reach this 300-point goal however it fits your lifestyle—whether that’s one 15-minute session in the morning or three 5-minute “recharge” sessions throughout the day.

How to Improve Your Score

To increase your Achievement points, focus on two factors:

  1. Time: Longer sessions naturally accumulate more total points.

  2. Depth: Increasing the percentage of time you spend in High Coherence (the Green zone) will add points to your total much faster than staying in Medium or Low coherence.
