The emWave software allows you to maintain a comprehensive history of your coherence sessions. Reviewing these past sessions is a critical part of tracking your progress and understanding how different stressors or techniques affect your heart rhythm patterns over time.
How to Access Past Sessions
-
Open the Review Screen: Navigate to the top center of the emWave program window and click the Review Progress icon. This icon typically looks like a small bar graph.
-
Locate Your Session: The resulting screen displays a database of all recorded sessions. These are automatically organized by date and time, making it easy to find specific recordings.
-
Open Session Details: To view the in-depth data for a specific entry, double-click on that session in the list.
Reviewing and Annotating Data
Once a session is opened, the full data screen appears. In this view, you can:
-
Analyze Rhythms: Look back at your HRV (Heart Rate Variability) graph, coherence scores, and power spectrum data.
-
Add Journal Notes: Reflect on your emotional state during that specific session.
-
Make Annotations: You can add specific labels or notes to sections of the recorded HRV screen to highlight significant events (e.g., a sudden distraction or a moment of deep appreciation).
