Dual Drive / Tropical Heat won’t recognize emWave is already running.

For emWave PRO or emWave2 (PC version):

Open the emWave program.

Locate the Edit tab, in the upper left corner of the emWave home screen, Click-Preferences.

Click the Advanced tab in the Preferences dialog box, and check the External Game Communication and Send Pulse Data boxes.

Note: emWave2 does not have Send Pulse Data box.

Click OK, Now exit the emWave software and restart it to ensure the changes took effect.

 

For emWave PRO or emWave2 (MAC version):

Open the emWave program.

Click on emWave PRO or emWave2 in the upper left of the desktop screen, Choose – Preferences.

Click the Advanced tab in the Preferences dialog box, and check the External Game Communication and Send Pulse Data boxes.

Note: emWave2 does not have Send Pulse Data box.

Click OK, Now exit the emWave software and restart it to ensure the changes took effect.

 

If the above does not allow full function, it could be a firewall issue.

Please ensure that whatever firewall is running on the computer the following files are allowed full access:

Dual Drive Pro for emWaveDualDriveEngine.exe

Dual Drive Pro for emWaveSomaticVisionServer.exe

HeartMathemWaveemwavepc.exe

Please ensure that Dual Drive is at version 1.7.5 or higher: if it is not, please save the file from the following link to your computer and with Dual Drive closed, install the file:

http://www.somaplay.com/dd/DualDriveHM_WebInstaller.exe

Then try running a new session.  If this does not resolve the issue, please contact Tech Support.
