Dual Drive and Tropical Heat are interactive “coherence-powered” games. Instead of a standard controller, your internal state (coherence) determines your speed and success in the game.
1. Universal Connection Steps
Because both games use the same communication protocol, follow these steps for either title:
-
Open Preferences: In emWave Pro, go to the Edit menu (Windows) or the emWave Pro menu (Mac) and select Preferences.
-
Enable Data Sharing: Navigate to the Advanced tab.
-
Toggle Settings: Check the boxes for External Game Communication and Send Pulse Data.
-
Note: emWave2 users will only see the “External Game Communication” option.
-
-
Restart Software: Close and restart the emWave software to lock in these changes.
2. Game-Specific Behavior
While the connection steps are the same, the games react to your coherence differently:
-
In Dual Drive: Your coherence level acts as the “accelerator.” High coherence increases your speed; low coherence causes the vehicle to slow down or stop.
-
In Tropical Heat: Coherence often controls environmental factors or speed. Maintaining high coherence keeps the “heat” or energy moving, allowing you to progress through the levels.
3. Troubleshooting (Both Games)
If you receive a “Connection Error” or the game does not see emWave:
-
Firewall: Ensure your antivirus or firewall is not blocking
DualDriveEngine.exeorTropicalHeat.exe. -
Update Software: Both games perform best when your emWave software is at the latest version. You can check for updates at help.heartmath.com/downloads.
-
Sequence: Always start your emWave session first and ensure you have a solid pulse (no red lines) before launching the game.
