The Coherence Plus Sensor uses intuitive light indicators to help you understand its status at a glance—whether you’re pairing, charging, or in the middle of a session. Since the original help article is in an image format, I have recreated the details here in a clear, easy-to-read guide.
The sensor features two primary light zones: the Ring Light (Power & Battery) and the Heart Light (Bluetooth & Connectivity).
1. Power and Connectivity (The Heart Light)
This light tells you if your sensor is ready to connect or is successfully synced with your device.
- Blinking White: The sensor is powered on and searching for a known device.
- Rapidly Flashing Blue: The sensor is in Pairing Mode and is ready to be discovered by your phone, tablet, or computer.
- Solid Blue: Your sensor is successfully Connected and paired via Bluetooth.
- No Light: The sensor is either powered off or the battery has been completely depleted.
2. Charging and Battery Status (The Ring Light)
Keep an eye on these signals to ensure your practice isn’t interrupted by a low battery.
- Blinking Red: Low Battery. It’s time to plug in your sensor soon.
- Pulsing Amber/Orange: The sensor is currently Charging.
- Solid Green: The battery is Fully Charged and ready for use.
3. During a Session
Once you have started a session in the Inner Balance or emWave app:
- Pulsing Blue/Green: This indicates an Active Session. The sensor is successfully transmitting your heart rhythm data to the app.
Quick Tips for Smooth Use
- One Connection at a Time: Remember that the Coherence Plus can only connect to one app or device at a time. If it isn’t appearing in your Bluetooth list, make sure it isn’t already “grabbed” by a nearby tablet or computer.
- Pairing via App: For the best experience, always pair the sensor directly through the Inner Balance or emWave Pro app settings rather than your phone’s standard Bluetooth menu.
- Battery Longevity: To preserve the battery, the sensor will typically power off automatically if it remains disconnected for several minutes.
