If you would like to check on the Flash version in your computer without going to the internet, use the following procedures. This is recommended if you are running Google Chrome because Flash is embedded in the browser and will always say it's the latest version.
Mac:
Click the Gear icon on your task bar (Systems Preferences)
Click on the Flash Player icon and Check Now to see if you need a Flash update.
PC:
Find – Control Panel
Click – Flash Player
In the Flash Player Setting Manager – Click the Updates Tab and Check Now to see if you need an update.
