Managing Language Settings in emWave Pro
The emWave Pro software uses your computer’s operating system settings to determine which language to display. Use the following steps to ensure the software is correctly syncing with your local language (such as German).
1. Open the Preferences Menu
Launch emWave Pro. Navigate to the Edit menu at the top of the screen and select Preferences.
2. Access Appearance Settings
In the Preferences window, select the Appearance tab from the left-hand menu. This is where the software’s localization and display preferences are managed.
3. Configure Language Synchronization
Under the Languages heading, you will see two primary configurations:
- Sync with OS Local Settings: When this box is checked, emWave Pro automatically detects your computer’s primary language. If your laptop is set to German, the software will attempt to display the interface in German.
- English (Default): If the “Sync” option is disabled, the software will default to English.
4. How to Switch to German
To use emWave Pro in German, ensure your Windows or macOS primary language is set to German, and then verify that Sync with OS Local Settings is enabled within the emWave Appearance menu.
Troubleshooting
If the software remains in English while “Sync with OS Local Settings” is active, please verify that your operating system’s Region and Language settings are fully updated. You may need to restart emWave Pro for the synchronization to take effect.
